hello readers!

i spent a few days being a xmas event volunteer in this youth organisation and spreading e true meaning of xmas! also quite educational too hehe. i got to be e doorperson photographer and back person of a photobooth and a helper with a mobile photobooth!

thanks for everybody who came to support! it was held at town. (: definitely a good experience and better outgoing skills haha.

Christmas ain't all about the gifts, its bout celebrating the birth of Jesus the saviour! (its a Christian kind of thing, CHRISTmas)

Shanghai!

pshh so hi. sry for e hiatus.

i went to china and blogged but didnt know china didnt allow blogger T-T. so my long post is deleted and wasted. T-T

mega frustrated pshh.

i went to shanghai/suzhou/hangzhou. shanghai mainly. it was much more fun than i expected! i took many pictures but most of them are on e dslr! feel like a photographer taking pictures. but im sure i pissed some people off cause i took too many loool.

i dont want to be so lorsor and longwinded and all that so i will just say some highlights of the trip!

first was the awesome hotel at shanghai ^-^ the service is excellent and the room decor is great and the bed is ultra comfy and everything. some room have a bathtub with a tv in the bathroom to be entertained with. and the leisure floor thing have like massage chairs and huge Macs to use. with gym + indoor pool. rly shiok. ^-^ im not boasting, just complimenting about the hotel.

then got the usual tourist attractions and all that. we went to some parks and the view is super chio!!!!!!!!!!! like literally the lakeside view, trees sunset all that. wah it was so breathtaking.

last few days was free and easy and walking along outside the malls and there was this chowchow that was ultra fluffy and super supersuper cute. it was being admired by many people, good life haha. i took a picture with it but my face like a cui T-T oh well

i did fall sick during the trip and glad im back in sg and sort of recovered. (: this is my first time in 2012 falling sick btwwww. yeah im stronger with my health.

Open house 2012

yesterday band performed for open house. and it was my first time being part of a performance for band. (:

and like halfway playing some stupid fly keep kajiao me. and yongxin.

and my fav piece is the Lady Gaga piece. and idk i just so likeaboss when band starts booming the music.

maybe cause its my first time.

yeah.

it would be a bonus if my future bf can play saxophone. lmao :s i like saxophone the best apart from flute hehe

and the councillors we like giving out free balloons to visitors. FREE.

you regret going right? :s haha one more balloon better than one less balloon !!!!!!

and my dad went to buy me a little cchms teddy bear haha. so cute like the tns one. but tns one is pe attire. haha both cute la anw

Happy birthday, best friend.

today is one of my best friend's birthday! she has always been my listening ear, we would go through problems together, and laugh like lunatics walking around a mall. whatever misunderstandings or problems we would encounter, the friendship was always strong and bonded. im really great i have such a best friend.

we celebrated her birthday of the eve of it, which was yesterday. we went to Swensens and ordered a pizza, and fries. two free fries came after that. we totally SPAMMED cheese over it. (opened the lid and poured cheese from there lmao) but its good, like extra cheese wont hurt. we spilt water and fries on the floor, and really looked like a ruckus, and the workers simply gave us the look like we could not afford the bill psh. but who cares, its not an everyday routine. (; we are crazy people, and the bday girl went to put a fry in a cup of water and added chilli flakes. it didnt really look disgusting, more like a red snow globe literally. THE BIG JOKE WAS WHEN SOMEBODY ATE THE FRY AND DRANK THE WATER. his expression was priceless...um

we walked around the mall blah blah and went to bday girl house! some guys left and some joined in. we watched thr grudge2, step up, aquamarine (my childhood favourite) and avril lavigne's concerts. (: bestf and i are both hardcore avril fans. (: i didnt really pay attention to the movie lol, but it was still quite entertaining. we jumped from bed to bed and lots of fun stuff. we had lots of fun jokes. AND OH YEAH WE FOR FUN WENT TO COOK POTATOES. like went to peel and add cheese and fry. taste good for not professional cooks. (; and roast marshmallows over stove hahaha! we didnt have satay stick then bobian use chopstick lmao.

as usual i stayed there the longest, but im very familiar with her family and they dont mind!

that day was simply fun, one of the best memories of 2012. i was angry and gloomy at the start of the day, but once i met them i was laughing the hardest! true friends are angels in disguise, happy 13th bestf!

Rainbow cupcakes!

everything is always better with a friend!

Adele came over to bake rainbow cupcakes with me, and we were planning to bake 48 servings. in the end we made 30+ for 3x 24 servings. DIAO.

cause we wanted to double the recipe so equal amounts of 24cupcakes could be given to each of us. first batch, while we were halfway put the ingredients, we realised we didnt look at the directions, and it was such a FUUUUUU moment. so we restarted, but we didnt waste the initiall batch of ingredients, we put it aside for awhile.

obviously, during the second time we followed the directions. everything went well but the most frustrating part is putting the different layers of batter over each other. we had to ensure every cupcake every cupcake could be seen.

we baked from 1+ and while we were finishing the time was 4:13. like dafuq time flies. but it was kind of a tiring process, my knees and ankles and feet started ache. it was worth it, the colours came out good. (:

so back to the initial batch, we just bobian try to add everything and stir and crossfingers hope taste would come out okay. they are turquoise, the colour was damn chioz. the taste wasnt as great as the rainbow cupcakes, but acceptable.

i really enjoyed myself making with Adele, she has been one of my close friends who brightened up my life. Love you Adele!

its 28 september today, and its gonna be october soon! time passes by even faster than the battle star galactica k.

its so yknow. as you know sec 1 is like the most slackish year of secondary school and itz like coming to an end! next year is the steeaming year already, and no signs for slacking. -flips table-

im having my end of year examinations next week. sianz i have not started preparing. s-c-r-e-w-e-d. promise to mug tonight, even though im not in the mood. tomorrow morning im gonna buy tix for smtown sg, and i have to wake up like 15-30mins earlier lol to get read. (my friend told me to) i really hope they wont sell so fast!!

tbh september has been the best month of thiz year. it is when i can laugh my heart out almost everyday and not feel left put or useless. i love my girls, they colour my life. what would life be without them? adele, jerlyn, seowkhim most importantly k.

RANT; somehow along the way there comes to be this girl. im jealous aint i. i know it myself. she doesnt have the support, so she comes taking apart friendships, even though she doesnt know herself. gurl u gotta know life aint alwayz perf and learn to stay with whats yours. aiya im just angry when people take my closests away from me. ;RANT

ooh btw ive been so hooked onto milk tea recently lol. its not my first time or anything but just very frequent craves.

Wedding.

sian exams are around the corner. study study. but i have to admit i dont really care if i fail or not sia. my year also nothing counted at all. -_- if my dad read this he would literally kill me.

im feeling damn horrible. i ate a bowl of instant noodles and a sausage and a chicken wing. and actually i had no appetite at all. DAFUQ. im gonna put on 10kg. :( :( only craving for milk tea. i swr i can like drink 10 cups straight.

WHY DOES MY HOUSE NOT LIVE NEXT TO A 7-11!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so its a lonely saturday night home ALONE. there's a wedding dinner my parents attended. my brother at tuition. and here's forever alone me.

speaking of the wedding here's what happened today at the church :)

me and my family were like 10minutes late lol. we always try to be early but in the end fail miserably.
the holy matrimony thang was so sweet and touching awwwwwwwww. i have attended a few weddings when i was younger, but i didnt appreciate weddings much then.

ootd was the forever21 dress in my recent haul post! i also wore a white cardi with sequins over it. i wore some gold diamonds sandals. SANDALS. ikr. i thought they matched at first. they at the church i thought about it again and regreted omo. but my dad was like 'aiya small girl like you nobody will notice' and i gave him the -_- face.

seriously "teenagers; treated like children and expected to be like adults." WHO CAN DISAGREE MAN.

yeah then it was the photo taking part. my extended family batch was the biggest lol. and my aunts were telling me that wasnt even a quarter. lee family swagg. and yeah we squeezed tgt alot.

THEN LUNCH. the selection was awesome. being a typical singaporean you would chiong for nice food first right? they had olive rice (my grandma and mom was telling me in restaurants this is an expensive dish), ayam bua kuluak , rendang, fish curry, satay, cabbage with chapchai and mushrooms, samosas and ngohhiang. for the deserts there were bobochahcha nonya kuehs and idk the wedding cake? the wedding cake was beautifully designed cupcakes. :)



the tables were also chioly decorated. there were origami butterflies with quality paper stuck to wires and caramelly scented hearts. sadly i didnt take a photo or anything. currently that is the only photo i took -sadded-

i played with my distant cousin and he's damn cute omg. he got angmolang face. grow up sure got girlfriend one lololol. he was so high playing with balloons. cause they were helium balloons then it will go to the ceiling right? then he cannot reach, so i likeaboss catch it and pass to him ;) HAHA. there were orange yellow and green balloons btw. im so observant

fml i came back at 2 and lay on my couch watching videos until 5. then i headed to my com and now its nearly 9 -_- im so screwed. thats why i feel damn sick and no appetite. i think im gonna sleep early, yeah that sounds nice.

exams coming in about a week's time and my revision hardly started. k im doing bio tonight. maybe till 10. then i knock off.

oh and i recently changed my facebook dp to my current twitter dp. and it was taken a long time ago. but i dont post zilian pics on fb so this is my first time. abit awkward lol for those people who dont have twitter and think i recently zilian or something hmm. k lah i know i veh self conscious

Band exchange!

Hey.

band had an exchange with Fudan, China. band members were excused to skip lessons yay. (;

we um had free buffet ! both bands performed at the concourse and like it was majorly loud lol. the fudan timpani player hit so hard till like the timpani gonna break lol.

eunice and sherilyn both had 'attractive' buddies HOHOHO . eunice had this handsome guy. then her classmates all over him HAHA . Then we were talking about asking him to touch tishew i mean tissue (i literally forgot how to spell HAHA ) papers then we sell . (; HAHA LIKE CELEB RIGHT. PSHHH . but eunice being eunice she doesnt care for guys. :b he plays reeeeaaaallllyy good. sherilyn call him xinhao number 2. (;

oh xinhao is an awesome flautist. senior flautist. meiling calls him legendary. -3- OH AND YESYESYES today he came for band and it was so so so fun ! (except there were some bitches pmsing ... ) BLEH. HOPE HE COMES NEXT WEEK :3

Day out.

Today i went out with my bestfriends. (:
Recalling memories we had together in primary school just makes me wanna cry. All the countless things we went through together, all the laughter, crying, fights. Teasing each other about our crushes, the type of  crazy things we did in class. We remembered about even one of the most irritating people, and how we can still miss them.
We tried to do nail water marbling but we failed. (: I now have red and purple nails. At faceshop i wanted to buy all the colours, all so gorgeous. Cause it was about 3 dollars for one, and it was from a branded shop. Quite cheap hor. And the cotton on ones are good too (: super smooth.
Even though we were freaking tired walking in the sun, we blasted the climb and tried to relate to the song, doing super crazy gestures and singing super loudly.(: Ahh how i love them.
Missing crushes hurt alot too. I miss how you would send me countless smileys in your texts. Thank you for listening to my problems. Sorry sometimes i ignore you cause my pride took over. Even though i dont like like you now, i still miss the times. :')
Secondary school can be as stressful as hell, in my opinion. The stress of all the classmates and the tests and exams. Even though i work so had, complete slackers can still get higher than me. -.-
I really miss my friends and primary school. I wish time could rewind.
I dedicate "i'll always remember you" to my primary school friends.
