HAPPY NATIONAL DAY!

spent this day out with my family! felt so great cause all of us are always busy :( so happy we finally got the chance again :)

so we headed to bugis to watch a movie, HERCULES. :) im not the kind of person that watches any movies unless i personally have a strong interest in, but i just went with the flow. it turned out to be a REALLY great movie. a story mixed with the love of a father, protection of a mother, loyalty from friendship, learning to pushing yourself to the limits and about who are the people you should really trust. there were some tear worthy scenes and really applaud the director and actors! side note- dwaynejohnsons body is just so damn muscular!!!! 

after the movie we walked around to shop!! spotted alpacas and cute soft toys and my mom instantly had a 12 year old moment. hahahaha look at that pink tiny alpaca at the bottom right looking up at my mom tho. i wanted to buy one so bad!!!

mostly was just shopping for my bro cause me my mom and dad all agree my bro needs to step up his fashion game HAHAHA i didn't really buy any clothes :( cotton on had a CRAZY 40% off everything sale and i had a couple of stuff in mind! but the queue was crazy long andi didn't have much time to spend so i could only leave empty handed :( topshop had a sale too! i was looking for a shirt but they had that in ALL colors except the color i wanted -_- do you feel me.  but i did get some stuff from typo! and my mom bought me some new shades HAHAHA thanks mom

had an early dinner at sifu. apparently it's pronounced sibu(????) LOL the dishes were pretty expensive compared to what it's worth to me. like some lettuce and sauce can be $8.90??????? like what. but it was a nice big area and the staff are fast and attentive! great ambience too.

before we went home we tried boost juice!!!! like finally! cause people have been telling me to try but i didn't have the chance bleh. first impression: SUPER GOOD. left: mango magic (?) and all berry blast! i like how they blend it right beside the cashier for everyone to see like they have nothing to hide as if they have fake ingredients :) if you know what i mean. 

came home to continue chilling with the family! thanks guys for having to put up with me, love u so much. ohana means family :) im sure everyone is watching national day parade hehe. hope you enjoy your day!

KETHADVENTURES.

today was our school's national day celebration! it was such a fun day, where the plus outweighed the minus :) spent most of the day with ting walking around eating good food and editing htmls in front of the computer.

it was soooo fun cause i havent gone out with her for so long! everyone is just caught up with work. so glad theres a holiday and we have a monday off :)

firstly at school, we had a talentime competition. definitely giving props to all those who performed cause i doubt id be able to perform infront of a whole cohort like that. graet job guys! different classes had different people singing, different songs, and a mix of instruments. to me the best performances definitely came from EP and MD. :) hehe but i enjoyed everyone's performances, most of them made me laugh cause everyone was just having a good time :) 

breaaaaaak timeeeee and playing with this hot dog stand game to spend our time????? HAHHAHA it was quite fun actually with kylie adele. we are potentially expert hot dog sellers.

during the assembly we had various performances, the one that really captured everyone's attention to me was the sand art performance by the art club members!! i will always be fascinated.

and finally, school is over YAY time to meet tinggg :)

i was craving ramen and froyo super badly (and mr bean redbean matcha, omg i should stop making myself hungry cause its currently 10pm) so i really ate both of them HAHAHHA thanks ting for putting up with my weird appetite!!!

ting i know youll prolly read this and i was very touched when you said you bought the froyo so that ill buy too cause i looked like (and yes craved) i wanted the froyo super badly but kept changing my mind. loveyaaaa and really thanks :') kethhh

        

ting trying yoghurt for the first time with ahem ME :) so memorable HAHAHA glad you like yoghurt ting HAHAH. 

time to head home cause ting is helping me with my HTMLs. YAY.

yesterday i was such an emotional wreck cause i was quite affected by something that happened... which really ruined my whole day, i hate days like those. thanks to those friends who asked what happened i reaaaaally appreciate it. to make up for the shitty day today i was blessed with an awesome day and im much happier than i was yesterday. 'after a hurricane comes a rainbow'

okay im getting quite mushy and emotional so i shall break this atmosphere with a candid to end this blogpost.

three words: GOLD. WITH. DISTINCTION.

so band has always been so strenuous with its LOOONG hours. other cca's are only 4-5hours a week, but band has 10.

we have been lined up for so many events this month, performance after performance. and i wouldn't have pulled through this without my section. 

this post is just to thank my friends for being thru thick and thin with me!

today was NBC DAY. (national band competition) we spent 16hrs this week practicing and definitely prepared so much for this.

AND THE RESULT IS: GOLD WITH DISTINCTION.

i was soooo shocked i definitely did not expect that like whoa. cause we did mess up here and there and after the competition lots of band ppl were all so worked up about messing up. everyone was nervous and so convinced our result wouldn't get far. 

BUT OMG gold with distinction. i can't. (typical white girl phrase lmao) but seriously SOOO proud of the whole band for showing the judges we are worth gold with distinction. thanks everyone for your effort!!!! it paid off!!!!!

flute section: you guys have been thru with me all the shit from miss sia, the out of tune moments, the in tune moments, the mess ups, the music. band would never be as fun as you guys. and honestly whenever i have the urge to skip a band practice i would think about you guys having to go thru it too, cause we go thru everything as a section :-) i really appreciate you guys having to tolerate my laughter and weirdness. i know i have never been that good at flute (to hongran standard at least) but i always hope you guys can learn and bring our section to greater heights :-) nicole and cassia, you guys have so much potential and im glad to know your my juniors and in MY section ;-) yongxin and ran, u guys are literally my happy pills at every band practice whenever i feel tired and sad. LOVE YOU GUYSS HERES TO A GOLD WITH DISTINCTION. :-) 

NO BAND WHOLE OF NEXT WK. hell yeah. okay this post was just to express my gratitude and happiness :-)
