This is a really overdue post but i finally got the time to not procrastinate it further. This is how my 16th birthday went :)

A few days before my actual birthday, my family went out to Timbre as a pre-birthday dinner! It was my first time there and I loved the familiar ambience because i went to that area before with Haiting. The atmosphere of the restaurant was really nice and family friendly. It was our lucky day that we saw a whole clan of avid motorcyclists, with a whole row of Harley Davidsons !!!! I was sooo amazed at the size of those things

I ordered one of the main courses, which was the fish. It was done really well where the skin was nicely grilled and slightly crisp, and the spinach complimented the fish well. They gave really large portions so I had to share some

I ordered a berry mocktail. This lil thing costs $12 but it was so good

The week of my birthday was common test week, so i had to endure some intense studying before i came to the day, which was also Friday

A big shout out to those who wished me at midnight! I appreciate this gesture ALOT :)

I always had this myth where the tests that I do on my birthday gets really bad grades, cause it was true for 2013-2014. But surprisingly this year, my tests turned out decent for the ones on my birthday. So it is indeed a myth :)

I came to school with a mindset of "finally it was the last day". I was quite bummed by some problems and school wasn't making it better. But as i stepped into the school compound from the usual side gate, i saw a familiar silhouette - Ting!!!!!!! and then out came John as well. They surprised me with this GIGANTIC BEAUTIFUL BOUQUET OF BALLOONS I almost cried!!!!!!

I was LITERALLY so damn taken aback because I never imagined something like that would ever happen to me cause everyone close to me know i spazz over balloons so much. And the fact that the whole bunch was the same size as me curled up in a ball, I was even more taken aback.

I wanted to take picture of the moment but i was too caught in it, in a good way! I really cannot express my love for my best friends and the things they are willing to do for me.... LOVE U GUYS

And as i walked towards the Grand Auditorium, Zoeyan rushed up to me and gave me ANOTHER BALLOON?????? HAHAHAH I was so speechless and overwhelmed with the balloons (very grateful as well)!

I was so visible everywhere i went, because you don't see a petite small girl carrying balloons the size of her walking around everyday.

I don't really eat cream, cakes or chocolate so Kylie just bought 2 slices of strawberry shortcake (and some other cheesecake). It was really good i must say hehe THANK U KAI for buying I really appreciate ur effort :') I don't know how upper sec life would be without u

Huilin!!!!! I really appreciate you always hearing me rant and we are the worst pair of people you should mess around with...hahahha thank you for the present i honestly like it a lot and its useful HAHA I will miss being late in the morning and have somebody calling my name from behind and we rush to school together instead when i graduate HAHAHA *insert laughing emoji*

I was really sad because one of the balloons escaped as we entangled the string :( Ting was actually REALLY close to getting it back because it was right next to the window of the chem lab but i guess nature wanted it really badly and the wind blew it further away :( You will always be missed dear one

I always eat the Sakae salad whenever i go there cause its soooo good but i feel like they scaled down the quantity and amount sadly. But the quality is still there hehe

I didn't take a lot of personal pictures during the party and was just trying to live in the moment. Throughout the day i faced a lot of ups and downs so even though it was my birthday, I still had some fucked up moments. I still tried to stay positive though and not let my feelings show through

My birthday cake which i am really excited to show!!! Designed by yours truly! Even though this was not the desired font but it turned out better than the initial one and I'm so glad the cake company was willing to even take in my order, cause i kept changing design and ordered like only a few days before. *inserts laughing emoji* oops

They added some glitter and shimmer even when I didn't ask for it and it turned out so cute

I AM SIXTEEN

I am so glad i was surrounded by the friends I treasured the most throughout the years because I wouldn't be what I am today without them. Its really cliche to say that, but its true

I may have grown further apart with some of them but i still treasure the friendship we have!

However this does not include my close guy friends as well that I excluded hahah i love u guys 2

My mother went out to buy a whole bunch of helium balloons with a pink theme (without me knowing) and i was so touched!!!!! I got more balloons muahhahaha

Kai and gwen sleptover and we had heart to heart talks and stuff. It was interesting HAHHA. And me and kai also tried the spicy noodle challenge ......? Surprisingly it was not as spicy as i made it out to be haha. IT was gooooooood. And btw i think i won

Thanks to my Godpa who came down to wish me a happy birthday together with a beautiful bouquet of flowers. Its beautifuuuuul

I wanna thank everybody who has wished me It means SO much to me, and those who took the extra mile to get me gifts. The day wouldn't have been any less special and I learnt some lessons from it too. You only have one year of being 16, make it count! :)
